ELM LEAF MEANDER (Fall)
WALTER MASON is a German land artist who creates artworks by gentle actions on natural materials he finds on the site. He pulls them apart and then puts them back in place with subtle variations and displacements.
Mason takes inspiration from British land artist Andy Goldsworthy. Like him, he creates ephemeral, fragile artworks which he then photographs, capturing the beauty of different seasons.
The result is a series of pictures that fall into three different categories: Fall, Winter and Spring/Summer.
