HEATHER JANSCH is a British sculptor especially known for making life-sized sculptures of horses from driftwood. This material is collected from the Devon river and used without manipulation to retain the original wooden texture.
Jansch also makes site-specific constructions and installations in the landscape and gardens; her aim is to create landscape design and works that have both an aesthetic and a function. She also has a private sculpture garden where she works with recycled materials and raw cork.
